The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "When you make Rukoo (bow in prayer), place your palms on your knees, then space your fingers out, then remain (like that) until every limb takes its (proper) place." [Ibn Khuzaimah]
When the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) would go into Rukoo "he would put his hands firmly on his knees (as though he were grasping them)." [Bukhari]
"He would spread his back and make it level," [Bukhari] "such that if water were poured on it, it (the water) would stay there (i.e., not run off)." [Tabaraani]
"He would neither let his head droop nor raise it (higher than his back)" but it would be in between. [Abu Dawud]
Let us not be of those who pray but harvest not the full reward of it.
