The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "Whoever rises in the morning intending obedience towards Allah, Allah will record for him the reward of his day even if he disobeys Him." [Ad-Daylami]
At least fix your intentions. Sincerely desire Allah's pleasure and Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) will reward you for even that.
This hadith provides solace and hope to those individuals who make up their minds not to disobey Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) and not to sin, but from the force of habit slip and tell a lie, or can't find it in themselves to be pleasant to their family when stressed, but then regret their actions, repent, and ask Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) for help again in obeying Him.
